Want an automatic message worded differently? A reminder to go out at a different time? A new automation idea for how your shop runs? Great — that's exactly the kind of thing we love to build. Here's how it works.

How to request a change

Contact Escape support and describe what you want in plain English:

  • "The on-the-way text should mention that our techs wear shoe covers."
  • "Can the estimate follow-up wait until day 2 instead of same-day?"
  • "When a customer books a tune-up, can our office get a heads-up text?"

You don't need to know how it's built. Tell us what you want to happen, and we'll figure out the how.

What happens on our side

Your change is made by the Escape team, tested, and rolled out safely — usually quickly, and always carefully. We check what else the change touches before it goes live, so a tweak to one message never quietly breaks the follow-up running on your open estimates.

That's the whole reason changes route through us instead of a settings screen: your automations are live machinery, running on real customers, every day. One-off edits made in a hurry are how follow-up systems die quietly. A change request takes you thirty seconds to send, and it comes back done and tested.

What's changeable

Most things. Message wording and tone, timing, which alerts your office gets, how sequences behave, new automations for your shop's quirks. If it's about how Escape talks to your customers or your team, ask — the answer is usually yes.

A few things are their own process:

  • Team changes — adding, replacing, removing people is the $149 build-in service.
  • Plan features — something in a higher tier is an upgrade, not a customization.

The fine print (there isn't much)

Reasonable customization is part of your plan — we want the system to fit your shop like it was built for it, because it was. If a request is big enough to be its own project, we'll tell you before anything happens.
